Help us reach more NYC children by volunteering.
All ArtWorks volunteers complete a comprehensive training program.
Visit a classroom once a week for four or five weeks leading highly interactive sessions on architecture, sculpture, painting and decorative arts. We have programs for 3rd and 4th graders in NYC public schools in all five boroughs.
Museum Tour Guide
Give guided tours at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Monday through Friday, during the school year, between the hours of 10am and 1pm.
All ArtWorks volunteers are screened according to guidelines created by the New York City Dept. of Education.
ArtWorks is a rewarding program for volunteers and children. Students find joy in looking at art while strengthening their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
